The Founder Story
VerdaRide was inspired by a personal experience. While working early morning shifts at Halifax Airport, I often struggled to get to work because public transit was not available at that time. I relied on rides from friends and coworkers and contributed to fuel costs each week.
That experience made me realize that thousands of students and employees face the same challenge every day while millions of empty seats travel the same routes. VerdaRide was created to connect people heading in the same direction, helping them save money, reduce traffic, and lower carbon emissions through shared commuting.
